There is an ongoing platelet shortage, happening across the United States and our rewards program is designed to get more people donating to increase the overall supply needed by hospitals to care for critically ill patients. We believe it is important to compensate donors for taking personal time out of their day to donate platelets.

The 2022 Rewards Program was intended only for the year 2022. The New Rewards Program (launching in January 2023) will be ongoing for years to come. It operates by looking at your last 12 months' donations. This means it is not confined by a start and end date.
We want to create a rewards system where donors can rapidly move up payment tiers. We have created a new system where donors can acquire increased payments in a shorter time.
Yes. In the new program, you will be able to earn more! You will be able to earn $3,450 as well as Bonus and Promotions we run throughout the year.
Yes. The New Rewards Program will look at your past 12-month donations and place you in the proper payout tier.
Yes. You will still be able to refer a donor and earn *$125.

Disclaimer: While FDA allows platelet donations once per week with a maximum of 24 times per year, Trusting Heart Blood Center has chosen to restrict collection to once every 14 days with a maximum of 24 times per year. Launch of the program is subject to change.
Refer a Donor
Refer a new donor and both donors earn $125*.
*Referring donor must be a current platelet donor in good standing. Both donors will receive the bonus after the first completed platelet donation of the referred donor.
